You lose 30 lbs between posts! Yeah!! I'm down 81 lbs - BMI 32.6. In another 20-odd pounds, I will be into the "overweight" BMI category which I'm pretty excited about. I'm more than halfway to my goal & feeling really good about things.
I've been doing pretty well diet-wise, although for the last week or so I've been tinkering with the Medifast diet in an attempt to save money (their prepackaged meals run over $2 each & you have to eat 5 per day). I have been replacing a few Medifast meals with cheaper, similar-nutrient foods - like protein powder, yogurt, and Kay's Naturals protein chips. I was feeling pretty good about that decision until it dawned on me that I'm not getting enough fiber anymore. MF meals have a few grams of fiber in each, whereas protein powder has 0. Not good....considering that this high protein/low-carb diet has already been wreaking havoc on my "movements" (I barely have any) - the last thing I need is *less* fiber! Eek. So...haven't yet figured out what to do about that.
